Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Shining Sea Bikeway: many residents and politicians showed up for the community bike ride/walk and celebration at the Falmouth Station on April 25 to celebrate this milestone. Riders came from N. Falmouth or Old Dock Rd. to enjoy free Smitty's ice cream, listen to live music by Just Picked and meet fellow Bikeway enthusiasts. Congressman Keating and State Senator Dylan Fernandes issued federal and state proclamations, respectively, recognizing the Bikeway. The celebration was a fitting reflection of what this amazing resource means to the community. Thanks to the Falmouth Enterprise for the great coverage (left).
